Our next meeting will be April 20th, 2021.

September 15, 2020: This meeting has been canceled due to personal reasons of the speaker.
We will  reschedule his presentation for the March 16th 2021 meeting.

October 17, 2020 - FallTour – Brad Gottfried. “The Battles of South Mountain.”  (1862), Meeting
at Burger King, Route 17,Myersville, Maryland, at 10 A.M. (Original date of April 25, 2020 was
cancelled because of virus concerns).


Oct. 20, 2020: Regular Monthly meeting at 7:30 PM. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Heidi Weber,
her topic will be “Nathan Bedford Forrest”


November 17, 2020:
This meeting has been canceled due to NJ State Covid-19 restricitions.  
Regular Monthly meeting at 7:30 PM. Our guest speaker will be  Dr. Peter Lubrecht. His topic
will be “Carl Schurz, German-American Statesman.”


January 19, 2021:
This meeting was cancelled because of continuing COVID-19 concerns

Feb. 16, 2021: Regular Monthly meeting at 7:30 PM. Our guest speaker will be Jason Huggan,  
Cultural Resource Manager at Picatinny Arsenal. His topic will be  “The Development of
Picatinny Arsenal.”


March 16, 2021: Regular Monthly meeting at 7:30 PM.
A Change in programs Our new topic will
be: “What Ever Happened to…or Six Degrees of Separation and the Civil War,” a presentation
by Dr. Peter Lubrecht.
Our original program for this date has been rescheduled for September 2021 Our guest
speaker will be Mike Smith. He will portray General John Buford.

April 20, 2021: Regular Monthly meeting at 7:30 PM. Our guest speaker will be Civil War
Reenactor Jason Dilts. His topic will be Civil War medicine.

May 1st, 2021: Spring Tour with Brad Gottfied,  entitled "A Walking Tour of Gettysburg."


May18, 2021: Annual Dinner Meeting. Our guest speaker will be  Jay Jorgensen. His topic will
be “The Battle of Shiloh”.  Dinner location The Lafayette House at 6:00 PM. Please order

Come Join the Fun and Enjoy a Delicious Sit-Down Dinner at The Lafayette House in their Upper Private Dining
Room!  Relish the Camaraderie of your Fellow Civil War Enthusiasts! Our special dinner guest speaker will be
nationally renowned Dr. Jay Jorgensen who will be talking about “The Battle of Shiloh”.   Dr. Jorgensen spends his
days as a Superior Court Judge in New Jersey and his evenings – and every other chance he can get – as a Civil
War history aficionado.  He is the author of numerous books, including the highly acclaimed Gettysburg’s Bloody
Wheatfield, which won the prestigious Bachelder-Coddington Award.  We are honored to have such an esteemed
speaker as our guest!     

Ticket Price:  $38.00 (Advance Ticket Purchase Required).

The Served Meal includes penne with vodka cream sauce, garden salad, rolls and butter, vegetable of the day,
garlic mashed potatoes, brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce, soft drinks, iced tea, coffee and tea.

Each person will have to choose their entrée ahead of time from this list: 1) Roast prime rib au jus, 2) Chicken
Cordon Bleu, 3) Stuffed fillet of sole with crabmeat.

Tickets can be purchased by making out the slip below and mailing it along with a check made out to the “Colonel
Henry Ryerson Civil War Round Table” to the address listed on the slip.  Checks must be received by May 8th.

Masks may be required as dictated by State Executive Order #163 that may be in effect on our Dinner
Meeting date.

Tickets will be given out when you arrive at the dinner.  Door Prize and Book raffle! Note:  The Dinner will take the
place of the regular May Meeting.
